A breath-taking performance of dance and theatre will leave audiences in Wroot, North Lincolnshire, absolutely spellbound as part of Live Lincs’ autumn season of events.
The show, entitled Point of Echoes, by bgroup and China Plate, is a specially commissioned Rural Touring Dance Initiative and will appear at one venue only in North Lincolnshire – Wroot Village Hall.
The performance is set in a lighthouse, known as Echo Point, situated off the coast of England back in 1978. It tells the story of two keepers, Eric Valentine and Bernard Humphries. Isolated from the mainland, the pair strive to form a good working relationship, but find themselves dealing with a series of uncanny events.
The show is brought to you courtesy of renowned international choreographer Ben Wright and musician and writer Stuart Warwick, who have described Point of Echoes as their most intimate and theatrical production to date. Tickets are sure to sell out fast so please book in advance to avoid disappointment!
Point of Echoes is a haunting tale of love, death, and monsters, blending the tones of a Wes Anderson movie with the eerie dread of The Twilight Zone.
“Giddy, pensive, vulnerable, uncomfortable, sensual…mysterious yet playfully alive to the moment,” The Times.
