Families! Help Sherlock uncover clues in the Forest

August 10, 2015 at Newton-in-Bowland in Lancashire.

“There are mysterious goings on down in Bowland forest. Is someone messing about with the climate? Do the bees know something that we don’t? Should we send in Sherlock to solve sylvan secrets? What’s going on, Watson?!”

Come and join professional theatre company Blaize Community Arts who want YOUR help to create “Elemental, My Dear Watson”, a play to be performed LIVE in the heart of Gisburn Forest.

Workshops will take place in Newton-in-Bowland from 10-14 August and children, families and people of all ages are encouraged to join in.

If you want to sing, dance, act, make props, sew or just have some fun then you can join Blaize and help them make the show happen!

The finished production will be shown on Saturday August 16 (2pm-5pm) and Sunday August 16 92pm). Audiences are encouraged to meet at The Hub, Gisburn Forest, Slaidburn, Lancashire, BB7 4TS.

Who knows what delights the British weather will bring – so do come prepared! We recommend a collection of sun hats/cream, waterproof jackets, wellies, or sensible shoes as terrain can be a little rough in the Forest. Prams are welcome but may need to be lifted.
