opening new doors to the arts

Alleyne Dance – A Night’s Game

Alleyne Dance returns with a tantalising new performance which promises to leave audiences in North Lincolnshire utterly spellbound.

A NIGHT’S GAME is part of the Rural Touring Dance Initiative of the National Rural Touring Forum. The show, which blends Afro-Caribbean, Hip Hop, Kathak, Latin, Circus Skills and contemporary dance, explores the issue of imprisonment in order to illuminate how the loss of freedom engulfs every waking moment of those affected.

The group is made up of sisters Kristina and Sade Alleyne, who trained at The Northern School of Contemporary Dance In Leeds. Inspired by true life events, this dark, atmospheric piece is both fast-paced and dynamic and will certainly get you thinking! This is a work that is as thrilling as it is powerful. Audience: 8+ /Adults
